Not everything’s about London. I spent couple days in Berlin and there’s one thing that surely left a memorable memory - the “Welt Balloon” is Berlin’s trademark, and if you want to fly and see all of the city, that’s where you should head to. Although it’s attached to the ground by a cable and you’re accompanied by a pilot, you will never forget what you see.
I was lucky to experience the view during a sunset on a late afternoon. The “Welt-Balloon” ‘journey’ is above Checkpoint Charlie, the Axel-Springer-Building and the Brandenburger Tor, where the 360° view is surely a breathtaking one! And it’s yours for 20 Euros only (students will get a discount, so bring your uni ID).
There’s a cherry on the top of the cake too - light and delicate venue around the corner delivers huge variety all kinds of flavours of ice cream at Ben&Jerry’s. Bliss! If you don’t have much time to get around, place yourself in this beautiful cafe.
