Electric Avenue

First thing you will notice about this hidden gem is the yellow colour front; Breakfast Club is located in the heart of Soho, hidden away from the busy Oxford Street. Reasons why it’s a treasure are many: this cluttered cafe with brick walls covered with old-school memorabilia - everything and anything such as postcards from all around the world, polaroids, plane and concert tickets, letters, notes and drawings, attract your attention first thing you enter the cafe.

It has a character too! A mixture of American, Australian and British relaxed atmosphere make this small cafe feel like home with a sense of nostalgia. You’ll find portraits of Elvis, amongst shades and vintage decoration placed on the shelves. But the best experience you get from Breakfast Club is the food. Oh, the food! Let me tell you what - they serve the best.american style pancakes.with cream and berries.in the whole world. And not just that, Latin American mouth-watering breakfast burritos, English breakfast, chunky sandwiches (oh-so-fresh!) and smoothies top the menu. All for a very reasonable price.

This very loveable unique place made me come back there several times. Also, it gets busy and crowded during lunch time, the staff will always make you feel welcomed and comfortable. You will never have to wait ages to be served. A hearty postcard back from home in Norway will be sent to Breakfast Club in summer, I’m sure I’ll miss the place whilst being away on holidays.
