Electric Avenue

I finally decided to go to Parisian Tearoom Ladurée at Harrods this week and see what’s all that fuss about. Hello French macaroons, millefeuilles, and tartes!  What I saw was hundreds of luxurious parisian bakery goods, all in different colours and flavours - mouth watering and eye-catching. and expensive too! but sometimes you need to treat yourself and those are worth every penny. I realised it once I took a bite of rose, chocolate, rasberry, kiwi, vanilla filling flavour jam macaroons. The flavour is to die for, it tastes even better to a cup of quality tea- I chose Mango flavour by Harrods. Fantastic combination!

12 macaroons in different flavours (chosen by me) hit the price of £15. You can get 8 for £10 and 100 grams for £7. I wasn’t allowed to take any pictures in the cafe but you should go and see it yourself, don’t miss it, the place is really beautiful too. This Parisian restaurant established in 1862 includes an outdoor terrace for al fresco dining. Lunch menu serves haute cuisine dishes from the smoked salmon éclair to the summer truffle omelette, sandwiches, mini viennoiserie and pastries. Enjoy yourself!
